My education, employment and license checks from my application are now showing as "In Progress". I must admit that I'm rather shocked that anything happened this fast and granted it could take six months for them to reach the other side but so far I'm happy!!!!!

And now we hold our breath and wait.....(not literally of course)
Well I finally managed to scrape up my high school transcripts and I got my replacement degree parchment in the mail so I finalized my application and sent it into dataflow for HAAD!!!!! I definitely have OCD tendencies and I was in full-on twitch mode before pressing the send button. I must have checked that thing about ten times and I'm still 100% convinced that they will come back and say I've done something wrong, something minor and completely irrelevant most likely. They wanted to know all sorts of crazy information:
- the last six countries I've visited
- my car registration number, & my drivers license number
- any military service I might have done and what area of the military it was in and for how long ( seriously what does that have to do with NURSING!?)
- they wanted Reese's name, date of birth and passport number.
I was tempted to tell them where to go but as its a computer program I would have been yelling at, with no ability to rationalize or be afraid of my craziness, it would have just denied me the ability to move on to the next part of the application, and then they definitely would have sent it back to me!
So now I wait. I finalized it and paid on Sunday, and as of today it is still showing payment pending as the status even though I've received a receipt for the payment. This looks promising.
I'm hoping the data check will be done before Christmas but I think that is über wishful thinking on my part, its more likely to be done sometime around St.Patricks's day!!!!
Who knows, perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised.............inshallah of course
