On Sunday we decided to try to find this little handicraft village we had heard about. Noom picked us up and off we went. Well we definitely got our wires crossed and somehow things got lost in translation because we ended up at the outlet shops which were cool to see but not what we were looking for. In the end we gave up and went back to the hotel!!
That night we went to the Sunday Walking Street which is a giant street market near Tae Pae Gate. The food was delicious and ridiculously cheap and it was interesting to walk around and see what everyone was selling. We went a bit crazy on thai pants (but they're SOOOooo comfortable!!!)
Umbrellas ready for painting |
The umbrella and paper craft outlet on San Kampeung Road |
It was chaos inside! |
You could get whatever you wanted painted on your jeans/ti-shirt/purse etc |
Or paint your own umbrella |
The local kids were playing this at the cafe |
