After the full day of driving/visiting the day before we decided to stick around the resort and use the pool on day 6. It was Loi Krathong that night and we had planned to go down to the river to take pictures of the floating lanterns and to let ours go too. However after talking to one local expat and Noom our driver we were warned off. Apparently it is absolutely insane down at the river with firecrackers and fireworks being let off randomly into crowds and complete chaos reigns. So we decided to let our lantern float in the pond at the hotel :)
